Acid Etching

Acid etching uses fluoride-based ions to modify the surface of the aluminum. This method – which offers significantly reduced etching times – creates a finished product that has a more uniform matte finish. Additionally, because this process produces less waste, it is a more environmentally-friendly etching option.
